Door Surrounds
Create a distinctive centerpiece for your exterior—a unique door surrounds frames your entry and sets the tone for the whole home. Use the pilaster kit with window headers to create an attractive finished look for door openings as tall as 8-1/2 feet.

J-Channel Back Plate: J-Channel Back Plates provide a flat mounting surface for headers and pilasters and help prevent water penetration. Pilaster Back Plate is 96" in length by 3/4" and can be cut to desired size. Back Plates must be ordered and shipped separately and are available in white (001) and paintable (030) only.

A door surround consists of a window header and a pilaster kit. To make a door surround you must buy a pilaster kit (€200) plus a window header from the chart below.
You will require a window header the width of your window, plus 14 inches (to cover the 2 x 7"pilasters).
Choose the size bigger than your required width. The surplus will be discarded.
A 40" window requires a 65-5/8" header. - (40" + 14" = 54" - The next biggest size is 65-5/8")
Prices in the chart apply to both Flat Panel & Classic Dentil Style Headers. Both are compatible with Pilaster Kits.
